This morning I woke up with a Clay Crosse song on my mind, I Surrender All. Powerful song. As I meditated on this song and God’s Word, many passages came to mind but this one sticks out this morning

And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

(Matt 10: 38-39)

I surrender all my silent hopes and dreams
Though the price to follow costs me everything
I surrender all my human soul desires
If sacrifice requires that all my kingdoms fall

I surrender all.
